In the mildest sense, think of your blog as a daily/weekly journal of the thoughts and issues that you are most excited about …. business issues and social issues.
Regular (weekly) entries in your personal blog is a great way to “share-on-paper” those aspects of your life’s projects, that you find most fascinating!

Video
There is NOTHING that delivers your passion, and allows for the other person to connect with your feelings, like VIDEO.

Why?
Because video engages more senses into your conversation than any other media.

• People “see you” … and the way your body language emphasizes a thought or idea.

• People “hear” you” … at the same time … and your voice inflections deepen the message (loud/soft voice ..happy/not … enthused/ambivalent)

• People can immediately “copy you” … engage in some action that you have encouraged or called them to do.

Fire up your webcam, or grab a camcorder and shoot a video to simply say “Hi” to those that don’t yet know you!

Social Media

We all live in communites.
So, think of social media as your extended family!

Wouldn’t it be nice if your entire family agreed with you on your core values.
well, in online social media communities, you can achieve that.

“How do we find people with similar interests?”
YouTube and Facebook are now two of the world’s fastest search engine platforms.
These social platforms/search engines can immediately put you in front of people that you seek.

Are you a farmer?
Then, improve your online marketing skills.
Put “farming” in the search field of YouTube or Facebook and find thousands of people/forum groups to exchange ideas with.

But let’s take it a step further in 2012!

Broadcast Your Ideas To The World … You will be amazed!
If you learn the online marketing skill of using “keywords“ and “tagphrases” effectively, in your video titles, you will soon draw subscribers to your video channel that will want to exchange ideas with you on your subject. No kidding! Just Try It!

At the very minimum, if you have not already done so, get over to Youtube (first choice) or Vimeo (second choice) and establish your own video channel account … TODAY! It takes all of 5 minutes to set up!

Do a search for topics that are related to your business, watch the presenters.
Then click on the video channel “tab” of those that you find most interesting.
Study what they have on their channel and how the channel is arranged.

Look at the “followers” and “subscribers” … and see how easy YouTube has made it to connect and share with your people.
